How to solve the problem of frequent pen-drive scan alerts and how to scan a pen-drive for viruses?

• I am unable to scan my Pen Drive through the company laptop. Scan options do not come by right click in My Computer. Even by doing directly through Anti Virus provided by clicking on Custom Scan and selecting Pen Drive for Scan, computer only scans C: and completes the scan.
