My Reliance Data Card gives slow internet speed. What should I do?

In Reliance data card, only 1x (230 kbps) speed I am getting, Broadband+ (3.1 Mbps) is not working, slow speed of data card, If we use Hybrid mode, It gets disconnected often.

Generally Internet speed is less in data cards than broadband. One reason is signal coverage is poor in many areas. As there are two speed levels offered by Reliance, places where the signal is low may be only giving 1x speed.
Reliance suggests almost the same measures to speed up your Internet as other experts. Look at the below website if you face problems with your reliance data card.

Reliance Highspeed datacard works on three modes:

• Netconnect+: The terminal can connect to the Netconnect+ network.
• High Speed 1x: The terminal can connect to the High Speed 1x network.
• HYBRID(Netconnect+ & High Speed 1x): The terminal can connect to the Netconnect+ and High Speed 1x network both.

As hybrid mode offers you the best of two, disconnection problem may be because of some other reason. Check whether these updates are installed on your OS

• Service Pack 2 for Windows XP OS.

If you have Windows 7 then you should not face this problem. If still facing please let me know.
Maybe problem is with the Internet service provider.
